Support & FAQ

A life is about four thousand Saturdays. Here's how the app works.

The basics

What is Saturdays?

Saturdays turns a simple idea — you get about four thousand Saturdays in a life — into something you can actually see. Enter your birthday and watch your life laid out as a grid of weeks: the ones you've lived, and the ones you have left. It's a memento mori for the modern age. Not morbid — clarifying. The point isn't death; it's paying attention to the time you still have.

How is my number calculated?

The estimate uses public U.S. actuarial (SSA period) life tables and is computed entirely on your device, then adjusted by the optional health and lifestyle factors you choose to enter.

It's a population-level mirror for reflection — not a medical prediction, diagnosis, or advice. A mirror, not a prophecy. See the Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.

Can I change my number with my habits?

Yes — that's the "bend the curve" feature. Toggle real habits like exercise, sleep, smoking, and stress, and watch your Saturdays shift so you can feel what your choices are worth. These adjustments are educational approximations based on general population research, not a clinical assessment of you specifically.

Privacy & data

Where is my data stored? Do you see it?

Everything stays on your device. No account, no servers, no analytics, no tracking. We never see your data — because it never leaves your phone. For the full details, read the Privacy Policy.

Does Saturdays use Apple Health?

No. Saturdays does not read from or write to Apple Health (HealthKit) and does not access any health records. The health inputs are just the toggles you enter yourself, used only to adjust the estimate.

How do I delete my data?

Use the "Delete All Data" option in the app's Settings to permanently erase everything stored on your device, or simply delete the app. Because nothing is backed up to us, deleted data can't be recovered — so be sure before you do it.

What about the people I add?

The "People I love" feature lets you add the ones who matter and see roughly how many Saturdays you realistically share. That information is stored only on your device. Please only add people you have a reason to, and share any reveal images thoughtfully.

Features & troubleshooting

How does the home-screen widget work?

The widget keeps your Saturdays in view every day. If it ever looks out of date, open the app once to refresh it, then long-press the widget to make sure it's set up. Widgets can take a moment to update after you change your details.

What's the weekly check-in?

One quiet question every Saturday: were you present? It builds a streak that rewards attention, not productivity. If you allow notifications, the app schedules a gentle weekly reminder — entirely on your device, with no push server involved.

How do I share my reveal image?

Tap Share and the app creates an image on your device, then hands it to the system share sheet. You choose where it goes — Messages, a social app, your photo library. The app never uploads it anywhere on its own.

I found a bug or have a feature idea.

Please email ktxd3130@gmail.com with your device model and iOS version. Feedback genuinely shapes where the app goes next.
